Specifications: We all love netbooks. They are very affordable, stylish and extremely functional. The only shortcoming with netbooks is that you can only expect to perform light computing tasks at this level. If you need a little more processing power (still cherish the portability) of a netbook, keep an ultra-slim netbook. The Acer Aspire Timeline AS1810TZ-4174, for example, an excellent alternative laptop. It is a 11.6-inch laptop comes with thata 320GB hard drive, 3GB of RAM and an Intel Pentium processor SU4100. Although it is almost as powerful as a full-featured notebook, it weighs only 3.1 pounds and is about 1-inch thick. The 11.6 LED backlit screen is a HD display and it also comes with an HDMI port and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity.
