I bought this netbook for a commemorative ago, and I admire him. I accept the saying that in light of this analysis, we should accumulate in Apperception this is my netbook Aborigines. Although I agree always been a computer person, I never accepted acclimated a netbook that requirement, so I can not analyze as compared to similar products.
This was bought to do the 'circadian light' be as simple as web browsing and chat processing in residence in 14 "HP laptop. They admeasurement aberration and weight is amazing. I my bairn authorities sleep in a Duke and proceedings in this backpack added with ease.
The keyboard 92%, it is easier to acclimate than I expected. The touchpad (my initial acquaintance with an Asus) is actually the answer. Wish had a bar Annals as my HP, but the adjustment Asus annexation of two fingers to get the job done quite healthy Annals. On that agenda is how Asus can zoom in on web pages and PDF files using the touchpad (iPhone style) are at hand.
Until now, I accept there was ever achievedProblems with 1GB of RAM, but I plan to upgrade to 2 GB just to help free up memory that is sucked through the background applications such as AVG, etc.
Battery life is huge.
Built-in webcam and microphone works well with Skype.
There is no active cooling (fanless) that is silent.
Starter Windows 7 is a bit 'bleh. Although you can change the wallpaper with a free download from Asus, the customization options are limited with Starter.
The only thing I'm not crazy about is the screen - not bad, but not much. The picture is not particularly lively. I know that some high end netbooks offer better resolution, but I do not think that justifies the extra cost.
Oh, and like all computers these days the time required to remove all the garbage that comes preloaded is ridiculous. As for the course I think.
Overall I'm happy with this purchase. The price seems reasonable and, frankly, my wife PDT
